What customers say?

“ Prophet Coffee is the real deal, a cafe/roastery that every city in the world should strive for. The vibe in here is immaculate, the service was friendly, the barista was kind, intelligent and gracious enough to talk shop, process and answered all my inane questions (and wore a Cro Mags shirt - hell yeah!). The aesthetic is deliberate - plant based milks only (A+), and it all works so well. It is inspiring to see a small business grow from a van into a coffee shop. We were only in town for three days, and I made my family come in multiple times (twice in one day!). We had all of the specials, and then their new summer specials, and the pulled espresso was top notch. I bought beans to go and will most likely order some online. I wish I didn't live 1000 miles away, because I would spend all of my time and money here. Parking lot is small and fills up fast, so be aware! Lovely spot, will travel again to visit. ”

“ Coupon from Hotel Circulo next door sent me over.. Soo adorable ”

“ Traveled all the way from Knightdale, North Carolina (just outside of Raleigh), and had to stop and experience The Prophet's coffee. Bryson makes amazing music and he and his teams also makes amazing coffee!!! Our morning treats did not disappoint. Great cup of Americano and my husband is a huge fan of good cold brew. He loved it. Can't wait to visit again. ”

“ Prophet manages to capture a very eclectic coffee shop vibe in a tiny little brick building without feeling like it's trying really hard to be the next quirky coffee shop. The identity feels unique and this goes without saying that the service and coffee / food is top tier. Their coconut cold brew donut is genuinely the best donut I've ever had, and it pairs super well with a drip coffee. On top of this, if you're someone who buys coffee beans, you get a free drip coffee with each bag of beans you buy, and I end up redeeming that every time I go in to buy beans. These are the sorts of things that build customer loyalty from the ground up in a very transparent way. Parking is tough, but Spruill Ave parking isn't exactly something to write home about and I don't know how much this could have been improved from what it is now without just purchasing or partnering with adjacent businesses / land. You can always park across the street from Prophet in one of the overflow lots and just run across if need be. ”

“ Best coffee in CHS. Their beans are freshly roasted, very fresh, and perfect medium blend. Drinks aren’t too sweet either, just slightly to get all flavors across. Focaccia bread may be top 3 I’ve ever had with good crispy outside but perfectly doughy soft and moist inside. Great herby flavors. So much seating, and fast service !! ”

“ Walkable distance from our Airbnb and highly rated on Apple Maps. We got the apple Cinnamon Foccacia and a seasonal drink(s) Ghourd something- my friend got the original and because I can't get the same thing as others I got the matcha version. I really liked it. Everything is plant based so oat milk is their base but they also offer almond milk. I'm more of a savory person, but the focaccia was interesting (in a good way). Cute retro vibes in the shop, and it got kind of full- not a whole lot of seating. It seems like a popular place enjoyed by locals ”

“ Ordered seasonal "Christmas card" hit coffee. It was delicious!! The staff was informative, experienced, and pleasant! Ariana Grande was playing while we were there. Vibe was awesome. Decorated for holiday. Nightmare before Christmas on the TV. Tree had coffee cup ornaments it was a joy. I will be returning. Barista allowed me to record her. ”

“ This was a gem of a find for delicious coffee. They roast the beans there to achieve the delicious flavors of coffee. They use plant based milks in the coffees. A must try is the cold brew with coconut milk. They offer delicious pastries made on property. I highly recommend the avocado toast and homemade muffins. I wish there was a Prophet Coffee shop in my area. If you stop in, tell them Debbie sent you! ”
